I am interested in environments and how one creates an unnatural or new natural reality. I am influenced by the interaction of the everyday, sometimes mundane, life interrupted by a variety of natural and artificial outside forces. Sometimes these disturbances become visually integrated within our world. My work talks about this element of daily experience that coexists with an artificial alternate reality. This alternate reality is based on the distractions and delusions we create to fulfill the demand for instant and temporary happiness. In our technological society this reality manifests itself in the virtual world of video games, blogs, and internet applications that allow us to become someone else or live another life.
